Jazmin's, San Jose del Cabo

This is one of our favorite restaurants in San Jose del Cabo. Although we usually stay in Cabo San Lucas, we always set aside a day or two to visit San Jose.

Jazmin's is one of the town's favorites for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. It's authentic Mexican dishes are served by a friendly staff in a lively, happy atmosphere. The colorful decor brightens you up the minute you walk in.

Start with one of their famous margaritas, or if you want, a strawberry one. Delicious!

Jazmin's has a complete menu of traditional Mexican food, seafood, and vegetarian dishes.

Judging from a look around the place, I think my favorite is also the favorite of many of their customers. It's the Mexican Combination Platter, shown in the photo at the right. (Click on the small photos to see a larger version.)

The Combination Platter has quesadillas, rice, beans, a chile relleno, some enchiladas, and guacamole. Recipes for all these items can be found at Cooking Dude.

Jazmin's is located on Morelos, between Zaragoza and Alvaro Obregon, in downtown San Jose del Cabo. It's near a cluster of art galleries, so you might make it a stop during your walk around the neighborhood.
